Museum Hours

Saturday: 9:30 AM – 12:30 PM  (Online booking in advance is necessary) 

Sunday and All Statutory Holidays: Closed 

All visitors are requested to purchase tickets in advance owing to limited capacity.

Tickets are single entry. Prices include tax. 
Group Visits (min. 10 people) 

Group visits could request an optional guided tour of one hour. The first tour is at 10:00 am and the last at 3:00 pm.

There is no additional charge for the guided tour.

Group of 10 - 15: $120

Group of 16 - 20: $180

All group visits must be booked two weeks in advance of preferred date of visit.

School Visits

All school visits are free. They are guided tours and a 60 minutes debrief session with a staff at the end of the visit. 

A school visit must be booked minimally four weeks in advance and notice of cancellations minimally a week before the visit. 

Guidelines

​Learning about WWII in Asia includes contents that can be emotionally challenging and triggering. Please be prepared, consider your capability, and take the care needed in handling the information. 

Please ensure you have read the below Visitor Guidelines before making a booking. By completing your booking, you accept all the terms and conditions listed in the Guidelines.  

 
Booking

  1. The museum is not recommended for children under the age of 13.​ 

  2. To experience the entire museum, we recommend visitors to allocate at least 2 hours to give themselves time to explore the galleries at their own pace. 

  3. If you wish to visit on a Saturday, please book your tickets by Friday 1:00 pm.  

  4. Maximum capacity for AM or PM visit is 25 people each. If you are unable to purchase a ticket, that is because the maximum capacity has been reached. Please pick another date. 

  5. All tickets are non-refundable. If you wish to reschedule your visit, please email info@asiapacificpeacemuseum.com at least 48 hours in advance. Please note that you can only reschedule one time. 

 

Arrival

  1. Once the ticket purchase is completed online, visitors will receive a confirmation email with a QR code. Please present the QR code at the entrance to gain access.

  2. There is limited onsite parking. 

  3. We are a fully accessible space and welcome everyone. We have an elevator to assist visitors if required. 

 

Visitor Policies 

  1. You may bring the following items to the museum if needed: ​

  • Closed cap water bottles 

  • Strollers that are not oversized 

  • Purses and baby bags which can be carried at your side 

  • Small, collapsible umbrellas that can be carried in a pocket, purse, or small bag ​

  2. The following items are prohibited to bring to the museum: 

  • Paints and aerosols 

  • Markers and coloring pencils/crayons 

  • Weapons and weapon-like items of any type 

  • Any item prohibited under the Criminal Code of Canada 

  • Any item deemed by ALPHA Education to be inappropriate or unsafe 

 

  3. Please follow these guidelines when inside the Museum: 

  • Be considerate of each other, our volunteers and staff, and our building. Disrespectful language and behaviour will not be tolerated. 

  • Refrain from shouting or running in the Museum. 

  • Refrain from touching or leaning against exhibits. 

  • Smoking, vaping, or the use of cannabis in any form are prohibited. 

  • Turn cell phones to “silent” or “vibrate”; be considerate should you need to make or receive a phone call. 

  • Food and drinks are not permitted in the galleries.  

  • Water bottles are allowed but must be closed while in the galleries. 

  • Photography including selfies, film and video/audio recording are not permitted throughout the museum. It is only allowed at the museum lobby and in front of the building. 
     

  4. For the protection of visitors, staff and our exhibitions, there is video surveillance in the galleries.
