About this event

To commemorate the 80th anniversary of the end of World War II, ALPHA Education and WongAvery Asia Pacific Peace Museum (APPM) hosted a peace concert Quest for Peace on Friday, August 15, 2025. The event is co-hosted by Chinese Professionals Association of Canada (CPAC), and Chinese Cultural Centre of Greater Toronto (CCCGT).

The themes of Vulnerability, Silence, Hope and Peace will be weaved through the 2-hour musical performances.  Through songs, contemporary and classical music, the event aims to arouse the historical memory of a human tragedy to be transformed into lessons and hope for humanity, and reflection on the values of peace, justice, and reconciliation.

We are extremely grateful for the enthusiasm and commitment of all talented performers and performing groups from different backgrounds joining hands together to enrich the commemoration event.  We invite all supporters and community members to join us on August 15 to celebrate peace, and enjoy an evening filled with beautiful and inspiring music.
